Carl Ludwig Hübsch, Matthias Schubert & Michael Griener uvádí: Longrun Development of the Universe (Hymns)

Germany, USA | OM

Improvisation inspired by Cage, Xenakis, Mangelsdorff, ...

A changing musical kaleidoscope combining composition, contemporary jazz, and timeless improvisation. The current program, "Hymns," is an ironic commentary on today's atmosphere, in which discourse is dominated by slogans such as "Let's make something great again." As a counterpoint to this trend, they bring improvisation and joyful irony to the fore. Their work echoes masters such as John Cage, Iannis Xenakis, Albert Mangelsdorf, and Misha Mengelberg—not as quotations, but as reworked resonances, organically integrated into the trio's own musical language.
