Keyboardist and vocalist Thighpaulsandra, a key member of COIL (who has also played with Spiritualized and Julian Cope), and Massimo Pupillo (Zu) first joined forces in 2018. The project has now grown into a fully fledged five-piece band: Thighpaulsandra – keyboards, vocals; Massimo Pupillo – bass; Paolo Mongardi – drums (Zu); Bruno Germano – guitars, synthesizers (Iosonouncane); and MariaGiulia Degli Amori – vocals, percussion (Iosonouncane, Daniela Pes).

They will perform in Prague as part of a tour supporting their debut album, due for release in autumn 2026 on House of Mythology, the label home of Zu, Ulver and others.

The band brings together the individual musical worlds of its members to create a fresh and distinctive sound, drawing on post-punk and new wave and complemented by Thighpaulsandra’s unmistakably “British” vocals and synthesizers. Their sound occupies a space somewhere between Japan and Rain Tree Crow on the one hand, and This Heat and the Factory Records aesthetic on the other – all spiced with prog rock and contemporary electronica.
