Ali Farka Toure, the iconic figure of West African music, left behind dozens of signature songs and a virtuoso superband.

The musicians who accompanied him have decided to stay together to keep the flame, headed by two artists, currently active as solo performers: AfeI Bocoum, whom Toure named his successor, and the very successful Mamadou Kelly.
