| L'udová Hudba Juliusa Šuka Bartoša Led by the outstanding fiddler Julius Šuk Bartoš, the "Bartoš Band" is one of the oldest Romany groups in its native country. Based in the Romany settlement of Medvedovo in central Slovakia, the group has been performing for several decades now. It enjoyed great success at the Respect '98 Festival, and now appears in the Czech capital almost regularly. The group is currently preparing to make its first-ever recording, which should be released during the second half of this year. |
