Drummer, composer and multi-instrumentalist Kresten Osgood is one of Denmark's most acclaimed jazz musicians, renowned for his ability to create magical interplay between the players. From the drums, he leads a stellar quintet that shares an intuitive understanding of jazz, its tradition and its future. Kresten Osgood is an extraordinary jazz improviser, with full respect for tradition, which he simultaneously challenges at every moment of his creative endeavors.

He has about a hundred albums to his credit, has toured virtually everywhere, performed and recorded with legends such as Roscoe Mitchell, Paul Bley, William Parker, Joe Lovano, Derek Bailey, Wadada Leo Smith, Jason Moran, Kenny Barron, Chris Potter, Kurt Rosenwinkel, Marc Dresser, Peter Brötzman, Joshua Redman, Brad Mehldau, Mats Gustafsson, Joe McPhee, dr.
