THE SELVA is a free improvisation trio with Ricardo Jacinto on cello, Gonçalo Almeida on double bass and Nuno Morão on drums.

Formed in 2016, its music explores the intersections between the broad musical spectrum of each of its members, presenting live an unpredictable and multi-lingual dialogue.

In 2017, 2019 and 2021 they edited three albums by Clean Feed and Shhpuma: The Selva (2017), Canicula Rosa (2019), Barbatrama (2021).
