Ghassen Chiba is an explorer of the vast and fertile land of traditional music. Of Tunisian and Algerian origin, and having lived in Tunisia, he is naturally fascinated by world music and what it conveys. His language is based on sources as varied as those of India, Central Asia, the Middle East and the Mediterranean basin, and he develops a personal approach guided by his memories and emotions. An Australian immigrant, Will Guthrie has since settled in France. He has engraved his mark among the most singular drummers and/or percussionists who hammer the sound space of experimental music around the globe.

Ghassen Chiba founds his language by drawing inspiration from sources as varied as those of India, Central Asia, the Middle East and the basin Mediterranean and develops a personal approach around the idea, the emotion. With their raw yet erudite approach to the instruments, you forget about the technique, you listen to the music.
