Andy Moor born in London in 1962, lives in Amsterdam – is a founding member of Dog Faced Hermans 1986-1995 in Edinburgh Scotland, a founding member of Kletka Red 1996-2004 and continues to be a full time member of The Ex since 1990. Guitarist, photographer, composer of music for various projects and for film scores and involved in duo collaborations with sound poet Anne-James Chaton, DJ and author DJ/Rupture, saxophonist John Butcher and composer and electronic musician Yannis Kyriakides. He also has ongoing projects with improvisation groups Lean Left with Terrie Ex, Ken vandermark and Paal Nilssen Love and Thermal with John Butcher and Thomas Lehn. More recently he has begun working with his partner dancer and choreographer Valentina Campora and commences a project in 2020 with Anne-James Chaton, Dj Rupture and data artist Josh Begley based on stories from the USA.
Tony Buck is regarded as one of Australia’s most creative and adventurous exports, with vast experience across the globe. As a drummer, percussionist, improviser, guitarist, video maker and producer, he has been involved in a highly diverse array of projects but is probably best known around the world as a member of the trio “The Necks”. Apart from The Necks he has played, toured or recorded with Jon Rose, Otomo Yoshihide, John Zorn, T. Cora, Phil Minton, Haino, Even Parker, The Machine for Making Sense, Lee Ranaldo, Ne Zhdall, The EX, Clifford Jordan, Ground Zero… Current projects include a LIVE solo adaption of the UNEARTH music, incorporating installations, video, drums and guitar; “Spill” with Magda Mayas; “Transmit” (a guitar driven post-rock project); New York based trio “Glacial” (with David Watson and Lee Ranaldo); “Circadia” (with Kim Myhr, David Stackenas and Joe Williamson); a long standing duo with Axel Doerner as well as a continuing in ad hoc and improvised performance settings.
